Brian Higgins is an attorney passionate about the medical cannabis industry, and as a Business Advisor for Integrated Bioengineering, he’ll help our clients continue to prosper using his vast experience in regulatory compliance, transactional, and corporate law.
Currently practicing with the highly-regarded law firm of Frost Brown Todd, Brian advises traditional healthcare providers and digital health companies on their legal needs. Brian also provides counsel for healthcare clients and businesses in the medical and recreational cannabis space. He has assisted in drafting policies and procedures for healthcare clients related to cannabis and assisted clients in procuring licenses in state-sanctioned cannabis programs, making him invaluable to our team’s mission.
Before joining Frost Brown Todd, Brian was a corporate attorney at Medpace, Inc., a publicly-traded corporation focused on administering clinical trials to bring new drugs and devices to market. Since 2019, Brian has been Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Health Law Committee and is on the selection committee for the SoCap Accelerate program, a health innovation accelerator, which assists start-ups dedicated to disrupting the healthcare space with novel ideas.
Brian graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2015. During his time in law school, he was regularly named to the Dean’s List, was a Moot Court Honor Board Member, and was Associate Editor of the Immigration and Nationality Law Review. He completed his undergraduate studies at Denison University in 2009.
When he’s not working, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife, daughter, and the family dog. He is also an avid fly fisherman.
We are thrilled to have Brian Higgins join our team, where we support innovative indoor growers with efficient climate, water, energy, and process-related solutions.
