Regional Water Process Engineer
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program
Minimum of (3) years related work experience in water treatment, chemical engineering, plumbing design, process engineering, commercial hydroponics
Interested and able to achieve professional registration or licensure in regions of the US.
Many state cannabis control programs require background checks. Therefore, if selected and in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, all applicants must complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including criminal/civil background check and motor vehicle records search.
Work Environment
This position typically requires working in a remote office setting. The job can require up to 20% travel time for site visits, training, and trade shows. Site visits require working in a typical construction environment that presents some hazards described below. This position can present physical demands and requires sitting or standing for extended periods, reading and writing, sketching and drawing, walking and talking, hearing and listening, keyboard and mouse use, driving and traveling, reaching, stooping and crouching, bending and lifting, or carrying up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities
Position Overview
Process Engineer with a Mechanical or Chemical Engineering background leading water process design for cannabis cultivation projects in the US
Working on piping and pump projects, piping isometrics, P&IDs, PFDs, pump analysis, piping analysis, specifications, equipment selection, etc.
Provide technical guidance to the client and associated stakeholders
Serve as a technical expert in water process and water management
Support business development related to water process engineering
Build business relationships with clients to understand them and their requirements
Construction inspection and resolution of water process issues
Preferred QualificationS
Water or Wastewater experience preferred
Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program
3+ years in water system design, planning, and construction services
Experience in a client-facing and business development role
Engineer in Training (EIT)
Professional Engineer’s license in OH or another US jurisdiction
Benefits
Full-Time Salary Plan: $55 – 95k USD (Depending on experience)
This position may include health, life accident, disability insurances, paid time off, and more. Equity compensation is available for registered professional engineers or architects.
